Your privacy is our priority. Revive+ is designed with privacy at its core. Your personal data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your personal data on our servers. When you delete the app, your data is deleted.
1. Introduction
Singularity AI, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Revive+, a health, fitness, and nutrition mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our App.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using Revive+, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Our Privacy-First Approach
Revive+ is designed with a privacy-first architecture:
- Local Storage Only: All your personal data, including profile information, meal plans, nutrition logs, health data, and preferences, is stored locally on your device.
- No User Accounts or Cloud Storage: We do not require user accounts, and we do not upload or store your personal health and fitness data on any servers or cloud infrastructure owned or operated by us.
- No Data Retention: We do not retain any of your personal data on our servers. When you delete the app, all your data is permanently deleted from your device.
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Important: While your data is stored locally and we do not maintain it on our servers, certain AI-powered features in the App require sending selected data to a third-party AI service provider (OpenAI) for real-time processing. This is described in detail in Section 5 below.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information may be stored locally on your device when you use the App:
Profile Information
- Account preferences
- Age, gender, height, and weight
- Fitness goals and dietary preferences
- Health conditions you choose to input
Health and Fitness Data
- Meal logs and food preferences
- Nutrition tracking information
- Weight tracking history
- Fitness activities and progress
- Sleep data (if enabled)
App Usage Data
- Your preferences and settings
- AI coaching conversation history
- Meal plans and saved recipes
- Generated insights
Important: All of this data remains on your device and is under your control. We do not have access to this data on our servers.
4. Apple Health Integration
With your explicit permission, Revive+ may read from and write to Apple Health. This integration is handled directly between the App on your device and Apple Health:
- Health data exchanged with Apple Health stays on your device
- We do not receive, access, or store any Apple Health data on our servers
- You can control which health data categories the App can access through your device's Settings > Health > Revive+
- You can revoke Apple Health access at any time
5. AI-Powered Features and Third-Party AI Processing
Revive+ uses OpenAI's API services to power AI features in the App. With your explicit consent, selected data from your device is sent to OpenAI for real-time processing. This section explains exactly what data is sent, how it is used, and how it is protected.
5.1 What AI Features Use OpenAI
The following features in Revive+ are powered by OpenAI's API:
- AI Coach (Nova): A conversational AI coach that provides personalized nutrition and fitness guidance
- Daily Insights: AI-generated analysis of your nutrition patterns and actionable recommendations
- Insight Chat: Follow-up conversations about generated insights
- Meal Planning: AI-generated personalized meal plans based on your goals and preferences
- Quick Tips: Contextual nutrition and fitness suggestions
- "What Should I Eat": Personalized meal suggestions based on your daily intake and goals
5.2 What Data Is Sent to OpenAI
When you use AI-powered features, the following categories of data may be sent to OpenAI for processing:
- Profile context: Age, gender, height, current weight, and fitness goals
- Dietary preferences and health conditions: Dietary preferences (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free), health conditions you have disclosed, food backgrounds, and wellness goals
- Nutrition data: Meal logs (food names, meal types, calorie and macronutrient values), daily nutrition summaries, and water intake for a recent window of days
- Fitness activity data: Recent exercise and activity information (if available)
- Sleep data: Recent sleep duration and quality information (if available)
- Weight goal information: Your target weight, goal type (e.g., lose, gain, maintain), and weekly pace
- Daily nutrition targets: Your calorie, protein, carbohydrate, fat, and water goals
- Coach plan context: Any active coaching plan details, including weekly focus areas and timing
- Your messages: Text messages you send to the AI coach or insight chat
5.3 What Data Is NOT Sent to OpenAI
- Your email address or contact information
- Your device identifiers or IP address (from the App)
- Your location data
- Your payment or subscription information
- Photos or images from your device
- Your Apple Health data directly (only derived summaries such as sleep duration or activity data may be included, if you have enabled those features)
5.4 How OpenAI Processes Your Data
- Real-time processing only: Data is sent to OpenAI's API solely for the purpose of generating a response (e.g., an insight, a meal plan, or a coaching reply). Once the response is generated and returned to your device, the processing is complete.
- No model training: Your data is not used by OpenAI to train, improve, or fine-tune their AI models. We use OpenAI's API service, which, per OpenAI's API data usage policy, does not use API inputs or outputs to train models.
- No persistent storage: OpenAI does not store your data for its own purposes. Per OpenAI's API data retention policy, API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days solely for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which they are deleted. OpenAI does not use this data for any other purpose.
- Data minimization: We only send the data that is necessary for the specific AI feature you are using. We do not send your entire history or unrelated personal data.
- No identifying information shared for model improvement: AI queries are designed to minimize personally identifiable information. Your data is used exclusively to generate personalized responses within the App.
5.5 Your Consent
Before any data is sent to OpenAI, the App presents an explicit consent screen that:
- Discloses that Revive+ uses OpenAI's AI services
- Explains what data is sent and for what purpose
- Confirms that your data is not used to train external models or stored beyond what is required for processing
- Provides a link to this Privacy Policy for full details
- Requires you to agree before any AI features are activated
You must affirmatively consent by tapping "Agree & Continue" before any data is transmitted to OpenAI. If you do not consent, AI-powered features will not be available, but you may still use other features of the App.
5.6 OpenAI's Privacy Practices
OpenAI, as our third-party AI service provider, is subject to their own privacy policy and data processing terms. Key protections include:
- OpenAI's API data usage policy states that data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models
- OpenAI implements industry-standard security measures to protect data during transmission and processing
- Data is transmitted to OpenAI securely over HTTPS

6. Information We May Collect
While we do not collect your personal health data on our servers, we may collect limited information for the following purposes:
Subscription and Payment Information
If you subscribe to premium features, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing information.
Anonymized Analytics (Optional)
We may collect anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be used to identify you personally. This may include:
- General app usage patterns (e.g., which features are most popular)
- App performance metrics (e.g., crash reports)
- Device type and operating system version
This data is collected in aggregate form and cannot be traced back to individual users.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we may retain your communication (such as email address and message content) to respond to your inquiry and improve our services.
7. How We Use Information
We use information as follows:
- On-device data: Used exclusively within the App on your device to provide app functionality, track your nutrition and fitness progress, and personalize your experience. This data does not leave your device except when sent to OpenAI as described in Section 5.
- Data sent to OpenAI: Used solely to generate personalized AI responses (insights, meal plans, coaching advice) within the App. This data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the AI features you have consented to.
- Anonymized analytics: Used to understand general usage patterns and improve the App's performance and features.
- Support communications: Used to respond to your inquiries and improve our services.
8. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third parties:
- OpenAI (AI Processing): As described in Section 5, selected personal data is sent to OpenAI's API for real-time AI processing with your explicit consent. OpenAI processes data according to their API data usage policies and does not use API data to train their models.
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and subscription management. Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions according to their own privacy policy.
- Apple Health: For optional health data integration with your permission. Data exchange occurs locally on your device between the App and Apple Health.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Any third-party services we work with are required to handle your data with protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.
9. Data Deletion
Your data is automatically deleted when you delete the app.
Because all personal data is stored locally on your device:
- Deleting the App: When you delete Revive+ from your device, all data stored by the app is permanently deleted.
- No Recovery: We cannot recover your data after you delete the app because we never stored it on our servers.
- No Backups on Our Servers: We do not maintain backups of your personal data on our systems.
- OpenAI Data: Any data previously sent to OpenAI for processing is not retained by OpenAI beyond their standard API data retention period (up to 30 days for abuse monitoring), after which it is automatically deleted.
If you use iCloud backup for your device, the App's data may be included in your device backup according to your iCloud settings. This is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by us.
10. Data Security
Your data's security is protected by:
- Device Security: Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and passcode/biometric protection.
- iOS/iPadOS Security: Apple's operating system provides robust security measures for app data storage.
- Encrypted Transmission: When data is sent to OpenAI for AI processing, it is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
- Data Minimization: We send only the minimum data necessary for each AI feature to function, reducing exposure.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. Your Rights
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:
- Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time
- Modification: You can edit or update your data within the App
- Deletion: You can delete individual data or delete the entire app to remove all data
- Portability: Your data exists on your device and is accessible to you
- Consent Withdrawal: You can stop using AI-powered features at any time. Deleting the app removes all data and revokes any future data transmission
- Apple Health Control: You can manage Apple Health permissions in your device settings
13. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, most CCPA provisions regarding data access, deletion, and portability are not directly applicable. We confirm that:
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Your personal data remains on your device under your control
- Data sent to OpenAI is used only for providing AI features and is not used for any secondary commercial purpose
14. International Users
Revive+ is designed for users worldwide. Your personal data is stored locally on your device. However, when you use AI-powered features, your data is transmitted to OpenAI's servers, which may be located in the United States. By consenting to the use of AI features, you acknowledge and agree to this transfer of data for processing purposes.
15. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
No Medical Advice: The information provided through Revive+, including but not limited to nutrition information, meal plans, fitness recommendations, and AI coaching, is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be construed as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge and agree that your use of the App and any information provided through the App is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information from the App.
No Liability for Damages: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SINGULARITY AI, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Personal injury, illness, or death
- Physical or mental harm
- Adverse health effects or reactions
- Nutritional deficiencies or imbalances
- Weight-related issues
- Any other damages arising from your use of or reliance on the App or its content
No Warranties: The App and all information, content, and services provided through it are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
AI-Generated Content: Responses generated by AI features are provided for informational purposes only. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific circumstances. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals before making health-related decisions.
Consult Healthcare Professionals: Always consult with qualified healthcare providers, including physicians, registered dietitians, and other licensed professionals, before making any changes to your diet, exercise routine, or health regimen. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Singularity AI, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of the App or violation of this Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
